Clarify a stick of butter; mix thoroughly with a pound of finely-minced/ground ham. Add a heaping tablespoon of dry mustard, a teaspoon of white pepper, a few heavy dashes of mace, and black pepper to taste. Options include granulated garlic and grated onion.
