Baked Breaded Oysters

Combine 1 cup corn flour with 1/2 cup self-rising white wheat flour and season liberally salt, pepper and a dash or so of paprika. Bread a pint of oysters in 1/2 cup plain flour, dip in 2 cups water with one well-beaten egg, coat with previous mixture and place on an oiled sheet pan in a very, very hot oven (500) for 10-15 minutes.

  1. Jesse, when you say corn flour is that corn meal or something finer? I’ve heard people call corn starch corn flour but I don’t think that’s what you mean.
